We are currently working with a major engineering contractor, specialising in rail and electrification who are looking to expand their growing and developing team by hiring a Lead Rail Power & Distribution Engineer to join their ranks in Coatbridge.

- Co-ordinate project activities associated within Power & Distribution including the planning of site works, resource, budget and plant.
- Ensure compliance with appropriate standards.
- Ability to work on multiple projects.
- Undertake technical reviews of internal and external documentation including designs and work package plans to ensure they are safe and buildable.
- Develop strategies for the delivery of project works, including costing, risk and hazards.
- Lead meetings with clients and subcontractors, developing meeting minutes and action logs.
- Undertake Site Surveys and produce site reports.
- Monitoring site work activities throughout the construction, commissioning and EIS or GRIP stages.
- Previous experience as a Project Engineer, preferably in the Rail Power & Distribution or Utility Industries.
- Minimum of 10 years experience working in a similar role.
- Knowledge of CDM Principles,
- Experience working on multi-discipline projects as a Design or Construction CRE and or a Network Rail Project Engineer.
- Understanding of Risk Assessments and Risk-Based approach including CDM/CSM and HAZIDs.
- Commissioning experience.
- Understanding of NR/L2/INI/02009 Engineering Management for Projects.
- Evidence of delivering works as a Project Engineer with understanding of multi-discipline projects.
- Understanding and completion of Testing & Commissioning documents and strategies.
