An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Surveyor to play a key role in carrying out topographical and railway surveys and to lead a team of one or more surveyors for our client, based in North London.

Duties involved;

• Complete land, overhead line, railway and gauging surveys.
• Establish calibration and maintenance regimes for all survey equipment.
• Carry out setting activity in accordance with design drawings and scheme plans.
• Manage, lead and coach surveyors.
• Produce survey data.

Candidate experience and skills required;

• Rail experience is required.
• Be a member of RICS/ICES or working to achieve chartered status.
• Competent using the following equipment: - total station, platform gauge, laser sweep, GNSS operations, heights and staggers gauge, mephisto, automatic and digital levels, laser scanner and track measuring device.
• Competent in the use of two or more software packages which are:- terramodel, trimble business software/leica GEO office, autoCAD, microstation.
• Be able to understand and translate RICS and network rail surveying standards into site practice.
• Hold sentinel competencies including: - PTS, COSS/SW/PC, Engineering Supervisor/SWL2
