Rail Project Contract & Procurement Lead - Israel

EWI are supporting a leading international Engineering firm who require a Project Contract & Procurement Lead for a metro project in Tel Aviv, Israel

As the Project Contract and Procurement Lead, you will be a key driver in ensuring the success of our metro project in Tel Aviv. Your role involves overseeing all contract and procurement aspects, including vendor management and contract administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, negotiate, and administer project contracts.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.

• Lead procurement, including vendor selection and bid evaluation.
• Develop procurement strategies for cost, quality, and schedule optimisation.

• Build and maintain vendor relationships.
• Monitor vendor performance and resolve issues.

• Identify and mitigate project-related risks.

• Establish systematic document control for all contract and procurement documentation.

• Lead a contract and procurement team.

• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders on contract and procurement matters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certification is a plus.
• Extensive experience in contract management and procurement within the infrastructure or transportation sector.
• Strong knowledge of contract law and procurement best practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
