Rail/ Metro Systems Team Lead - Philippines

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialists are working with a major international Consultancy firm who are requiring a Systems Lead for an on-going metro project in the Philippines.

Opportunity & Responsibilities:

The Successful Expert shall be working as part of an international team He/ She shall be responsible for leading all Rail Systems components, on this $4.5billion package which includes trackwork, power supply, OCS, rolling stock, depot equipment, etc. The role shall include the final contract awards, supervising the construction and Defect Liability. As the Lead you shall be supported by a team of both Technical (Resident Engineers) and project Controls specialists. Key function of the role shall be ensuring the integration of all packages and elements, monitoring and reporting on progress, supporting in the resolution of issues and ensuring that the end client's interests are maintained. You would have Time and Budget management responsibilities.

Requirements for the role:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or higher
• At least 10 years as expert in Electrical/Mechanical rail systems (trackwork, power supply, OCS, rolling stock, depot equipment, etc.)
• At least 10 years as Electrical/Mechanical rail systems manager/director responsible for integration of electrical/mechanical rail systems
• Experience in FIDIC contracts, project size larger than 500 million USD
• Regional experience would be beneficial

Salary Package:

The salary on offer for this position is expected to be around $15,000 'Tax free' per month with a full package including Flights, Accommodation, transport, insurance, per diem.
