To be suitable for the position you must have

• 3 / 5 years HSQE expereince in the rail industry.
• Network Rail project experience
• Demonstrable experience auditing in the railway industry
• Lead Auditor Qualification
• Competence in decision making, report writing and presentation skills.
• Fully conversant and experienced in the use of Microsoft Office,
• Experienced in the delivery of management system audits to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001
• Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have
• Experience of ISO 50001
• NEBOSH Diploma (Essential)
• CMIOSH or actively working towards it. (Essential)
• Personal Track Safety Certificate

Role Information

• To provide professional safety, health, environmental and quality advice to management and employees within the Rail Division and to assist in the delivery of the Safety, Health and Environmental strategies, alongside reporting & ensuring all safety paperwork is recorded and updated as required
• Lead audit teams, undertake contract delivery and ensure audits are carried out in compliance with international standards and internal procedures.
• Authorise and monitor the standard of audit reports.
• Ensure audits are carried out without prejudice and are of adequate and equal standing
