Salary: Up to £25,544 per annum

Are you a meticulous Logistics Operative looking to join a world-leading aerospace engineering and manufacturing business? You could be progressing your career at a world class and very successful Manufacturing company who have been awarded multiple queens awards and provide a range of complex safety equipment for the Aerospace / Defence markets.

Location / Hours:

You will be based close near Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire, five days per week; you'll need to be able to drive there or be on close public transport links, free parking available.

37 hours a week: Mon to Thurs (8 am - 5 pm) & Fri (8 am - 12 noon).

Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick and kit parts for precise packing and dispatch.
• Pack and label parts with attention to detail.
• Prepare parts for shipping and ensure compliance with packaging instructions.
• Check batch numbers, volume, and part descriptions using the in-house computer system.
• Pick and issue materials, goods, and stock to other internal departments.
• Operate counterbalance forklifts, electric pallet stackers, and scissor lifts for goods movement (Training provided).
• Use a saw machine to cut material to size (Training provided).

Requirements:

• Prior experience with Picking and Packing in a manufacturing environment.
• Computer literate, proficient with Word and Excel.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions effectively.
• Eagerness to learn additional skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Commitment to task completion.

Salary & Benefits:

As a Logistics Operative, you will earn a competitive salary (£25,544) plus benefits including:

• Overtime available paid at 1.5x pay (£19 per hour).
