A new opportunity has arisen for a Logistics Operator based in Hatfield. The Logistics Operator will report directly to the Logistics Manager SS&I.
Role:
The successful candidate will manage the logistic flow of material for signalling systems and infrastructure business operations.
Key Responsibilities include but not are not limited to:
- Management of materials including goods in, storing, packaging, dispatch and returns
- Undertaking monthly inventory cycle counting
- Maintaining stock records for all materials in the ERP system
- Maintain records for all material handling equipment
- Ensure all waste is collection properly and adequately removed from site
Essential Requirements:
- Educated to GCSE level
- Excellent understanding of warehousing and procedures
- Telehandler and forklift trained
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements for a warehouse environment
Desirable:
- Suitable warehouse/logistics experience
- Railway industry experience
