I am recruiting for an experienced Engineering Manager with a background in Tram Maintenance Mobilisation

This is unique opportunity to join one of our most exciting, flagship projects in a joint venture partnership with the UK public transport operator


During the mobilisation and early transition phases this role will:

* Lead the review of Tram maintenance documentation, strategies, standards and operating procedures and recommend improvements.

* Develop Draft Annual Maintenance Plan for the Tram asset discipline in conjunction with company Strategic Consulting

* Review and update Tram maintenance processes, workflow and Task Instructions

* Set standards for engineering competence

* Ensure all subcontractors have been selected and contracts in place and signed before contract Commencement Date

* Provide advice to Engineering Mobilisation Workstream leader (WSL)/Director of Engineering on the implementation of an ISO5000 compliant asset maintenance regime for Metrolink Tram assets.

* Develop asset hierarchies, attributes, data mapping and workflow for incorporation into the Enhanced Agility CMM system.



Experience
* Experience of Tram Maintenance
* Previous exposure to Tram of Light rail projects advantageous
* Understanding of supporting CMM systems to record maintenance of Tram or Trains
* Environmental awareness Tool Box talk
* IOSH working safely

This is a 12 month rolling contract position, based in Manchester.
Day rates are negotiable, depending on experience.
