We have a fantastic opportunity in Milton Keynes area for an experienced maintenance/facilities electrician for a major rolling stock overhauler who have a 100-acre depo based in Milton Keynes

We at Ford and Stanley - Talentwise - the technical recruitment specialists are currently seeking to speak to Maintenance Electricians based in the Milton Keynes due to the clients influx in work, they're looking to add a key member into their close-knit maintenance team to work on all aspects of the facilities around the depo from lighting to their machines.

This role would suit somebody who has several year's experience as a maintenance/ facilities Electrician and has also worked on heavy engineering machinery.

Location: Milton Keynes, Luton, Bedford, Northampton, Bletchley

Your key responsibilities

• Carry out all planned and preventive maintenance on time following the maintenance planner.
• Carry out fault finding on mechanical and electrical systems
• Responsible for reactive maintenance on all systems
• Advice the facilities manager of any defects identified and propose solutions
• Make sure all work is met with required standards.

Yourself, what do you need to succeed?

You will have experience in a similar role in an industrial setting for at least 3 years

Must be able to work overtime when required including weekends and bank holidays

Must have 16th edition qualifications as a minimum

You will be able to read measure devices and schematics

Must be able to use basic tools and machinery
