We're looking for a Business Change Manager for a contract role with Network Rail.

As a Business Change Manager, your main responsibilities would be:

• Identifying financially (efficiency) driven opportunities for improvement, to reduce cost, waste, duplication and inefficiencies, and building a business case for these
• Providing control of identified and existing efficiency change projects, through progress reporting (including KPI’s) and corrective management where required
• Manage / provide visibility of the implementation of the change and improvement portfolio throughout Scotland, ensuring control through active engagement and management, and providing feedback to continually improve it
• Establishing the right governance, accountability (for delivery of benefits) and associated (risk- based controls assurance) arrangements
• Building collaborative relationships in a large organisation, especially with the areas where Business efficiencies are owned.

You’ll have relevant experience in:

• Delivering business change on a large scale in a multi-disciplinary environment
• Building relationships with senior stakeholders and influencing
• Change and improvement tools and techniques
• Effective interpersonal skills and an ability to use influence to gain buy in to enable change to happen through others
• Commercial awareness – Beneficial but not essential
• Knowledge of Network Rail and the Rail Industry – Beneficial but not essential
• Business transformation programme management experience – Beneficial but not essential

You will also have these Qualifications/Skills:

• Excellent communication skills and ability to negotiate and influence effectively with all levels of an organisation
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills
• Ability to establish professional credibility quickly
• Proficient with MS Suite, especially Excel
