Change Project Manager job description
The Change Project Manager - Business Case & Benefits leads on the development and maintenance of the programme-level business case which sets out a clear case for change, options, costs, intended benefits and timelines.
The role holder will work with the individual project or workstream leads to ensure their project-level business cases are closely aligned to the programme level one.
The role holder is responsible for ensuring that intended benefits of the project/s or programme are realised within the required timeframes. This will also require identifying risks to benefits realisation and putting in place appropriate mitigations that enable benefits delivery.
They will also be involved in other key project and programme management activity as required, working with the programme manager and other project team members to support project / programme delivery.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Develops and maintains the project or programme level business case, ensuring that the business case is kept up to date throughout the project / programme lifecycle
Supports the Head of Programme, Programme Manager and / or project leads in tracking project and programme benefits and analysing the impact of in year changes to the programme composition

Provides advice and guidance to project leads and senior stakeholders on all aspects of project business case and benefits management

Develops and controls project benefits realisation management processes, tools and reports, ensuring the analysis captures lessons learned and informs future work

Acts as a project manager within the wider programme team, collaborating to drive successful programme delivery

SKILLS
Strong skills in benefits management and realisation
Business case assessment and appraisal techniques and their application

EXPERIENCE
Experience in producing or assuring business cases for complex projects / programmes
