Consultant - Asset Management (Open) in UK, United Kingdom
Consultant – Business Analysis and Asset Management
SNC-Lavalin’s Atkins business is one of the largest transportation consultancies in the UK, and a leading supplier of engineering services to government, regulatory and local authorities, infrastructure owners and operators. Major clients include Regulators & Public Bodies, Infrastructure Owners & Operators, Railway Service operators, the Railway Supply Industry, Financiers & Asset Owners, and Professional Advisors etc. The Rail Consulting practice, within the UK Transportation business, is the home of our market leading transport technology and mobility capability. We work across the transport sector helping our clients navigate through a rapidly changing world linking current Intelligent Transport Systems with future-focused technology opportunities. We create a culture and environment to inspire our people, ensure collaboration with our clients and continue to shape the future of mobility. Train control is the technology that keeps a railway safe and allows a train to perform optimally. Communication systems are the key to making them work reliably and efficiently. We’re experts at designing, integrating, installing, operating and maintaining these technologies, but we also capitalize on them by adding a human-centred, collaborative approach. By considering how rail needs to perform for the people who operate, maintain and ride it, we make rail better for everyone who uses it. The Strategic Asset Management (Rail) team is newly created to build upon the existing rail portfolio and looks to establish a team of Data Science, Business Analysis and Asset Management professionals to both win new work and to manage the existing projects. With the changes taking place in the UK railways and others around the world over the next 5 years, the creation of a new team to lead the industry through these exciting changes enables SNC-Lavalin’s Atkins to be at the forefront of Railway Operations.
