About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Power Networks division. The successful applicant will support the technical, operational and delivery functions within the Power Networks department by providing the necessary support to enable the function to deliver. You will provide engineering and technical support to deliver works on DNO and ICP projects as defined in the host DNO’s policies & procedures to time, cost & quality standards.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
As part of your day to day role, you are responsible for the following:
To manage the delivery function within the Power Networks department by providing the necessary support to enable the function to deliver.
- Manage a delivery team and sub contract resources to deliver works on DNO framework projects as defined in the host DNO’s policies & procedures to time, cost & quality standards.
- The safety of both Linbrooke Power Networks employees and clients/public who may come into contact with our day to day operations
- Stakeholder management and engagement will involved parties.
- Co-ordinate all functions from design to installation of electrical networks.
- Management of both Linbrooke and its sub-contract resource whilst working on our behalf
- The safe operational delivery of works as defined by the host DNO / IDNO
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of business position including financials
- Stakeholder management / client interface: Management of all new opportunities working in conjunction with business development and commercial representatives.
- Oversee bids and tenders with new and existing clients, working in conjunction with commercial team.
- Oversee technical design scopes with using external and internal resource as and when required to provide compliant and feasible delivery solutions.
- Work collaboratively with internal operations to ensure adequate resource, materials and plant are correctly prices and utilised on project delivery.
- Financial responsibility for P&L on all projects
- Ensure compliance with all company H&S policies throughout design and installation operations.
- Attend weekly / monthly management meetings with contributions to agreed performance metrics.
Essential:
- Proven project management experience within the electricity or associated regulated industry
- Hold suitable qualification
- Driving Licence
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Project safety management experience
- Working knowledge of safety, quality and environmental procedures
- IT skills
Desirable:
- AP Authorisation with a DNO previously
- Multi-disciplined skills background
- ONC or higher electrical qualification
Schedule
Monday to Friday, Office based position.
