Role Summary

This is an exciting time to join a busy rail company as an Engineering Contracts Manager managing the delivery of rolling stock maintenance agreements.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional from a rolling stock engineering background to take an influential and impactful role with a busy train operator.

The role

• You will manage the TSSSA delivery ensuring the supplier maintains a strong engineering service and availability of parts / spares as set out in the TSSSA
• You will manage further specialised service & maintenance agreements for older fleets under lease
• You will be responsible for executing any necessary variance agreements to ensure the fleet maintenance and performance KPIs are met
• You will be responsible for holding the relevant suppliers to account for their performance under these contracts and any relevant variances

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong understanding of rolling stock maintenance demands
• Previous experience managing
• Ability to attain necessary licences for example - Station Operating Licence, Ticket Office Licence and Safety Critical Licence
• Excellent attention to detail, presentation and customer experience focus
