A Tier 1 contractor has an exciting opportunity for a HSSE Advisor to join their ever-growing company on a huge highways framework. This would be a prime role for somebody looking to further their career as the company offer a wealth of support and opportunities to climb up the ladder in as little as 12 months.

Job Description:

You will be reporting into the Senior HSSE Manager for the Framework and undertaking a very ‘Hands on’ role, being present both on and off site. Day to day you will: -

• Carry out site inspections, inductions and safety reports
• Check sub-contractors SSOW plans
• Provide workshops and training to implement new innovations, rules and regulations
• Review RAMS and CPP’s in conjunction with the client
• Have a very heavy focus on Traffic Management

Alongside this, they offer financial and mentorship support with qualifications such as Charterships, MHFA and IEMA. You will have a strong knowledge of behavioural safety and exhibited confidence to challenge and coach.

Essential:

• NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 5 equivalent Safety qualification
• You will come from a Tier 1 contractor background as a HSSE Advisor or Manager
• You will come from a background of Civil engineering or Highways England Major Schemes
