Our client is looking for a Head of Risk & Value Management based in York. The Head of Risk & Value Management will act as a functional head within the project and provide assurance to stakeholders.

Role:

The successful candidate will lead enterprise and programme risk management activities to support the successful delivery of industry wide programme objectives.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Lead the development, implementation and then operation of the region ERM framework
• Manage and lead the R&V team, including checking R&V competency and capabilities to support the delivery of R&V within the region
• Set the strategy, standards and governance requirements for R&V management within the region
• Provide assurance to Managing Director and Stakeholders regarding R&V management across the region
• Influence and work effectively with supply chain to deliver risk requirements
• Lead the development and delivery of Professional Development and Training for R&V management

Essential Requirements:

• Extensive experience in disciplines of risk management and value management
• Educated to degree standard or equivalent
• Good working knowledge of railway operations and project management

Desirable:

• Experience of Safran
• Six Sigma Yellow Belt
