Coleman-James Limited are currently recruiting for a Mid - Software Developer with specialised skills in Microsoft tech stack (C#, SQL server) and REST API’s.

1. Developing C# services and applications with back-end data access layers for use with the application front end and on-board solutions
2. Develop application code with unit testing and automated testing to be deployed via CI/CD pipelines. Basic DevOps understanding (training provided)
3. Develop REST API's for integrations into 3rd party solutions + systems
4. Develop MQTT messaging system for on-board digital solutions (training will be provided)
5. Write technical documentation for design & systems development activities
6. Write technical documentation
7. Understanding of code versioning and software lifecycle management tools
8. Deliver software in an agile manner to meet the needs of the business
9. Contribute to the overall systems architecture and help continually improve the application's feature set
10. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications within the product portfolio.
11. Influence the choice of tech stack for all developments
12. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Ideally we are looking for an experienced software developer that had an exposure & experience with the below:

• Microsoft tech stack (C#, SQL server) with JavaScript and Angular FE
• REST API’s
• Microservices
• Containerisation (Docker / Kubernetes)
• Azure cloud (service bus, IoT hub, VM’s, SQL PaaS, etc)
• RabbitMQ/AMQP, relevant architecture + design, Dev Ops, test frameworks, TDD, etc
• Software principles – OOP, SOLID, DI, design patterns
