PRAMS Specialist

On-going Contract initially
£350-400 /day (IN-SCOPE of IR35)
My Nationwide Rail and Engineering client are looking for a PRAMS specialist to lead the interface between relevant stakeholders and specifically the design teams – and Design Authority over performance modelling.
The Role will Involve:
- Represent the ‘maintenance’ and ‘asset owner’ perspective in the design of new/ altered assets and projects to ensure performance targets achieved.
- Collate information from the team and translate that into action plans for the design and construction teams to follow in pursuit of performance targets.
- Present information back from the design teams to allow performance modelling to be undertaken by the team.
- Support the Integration Programme management function with technical expertise in discussions with Asset Management and Maintenance functions to ensure adequate input into the design process for documented requirements, and to ensure effective communication of information back to those functions to guarantee timely and efficient hand back.
- Maintain Project PRAM plans through liaison with project teams.
KEY SKILLS ESSENTIAL/DESIRABLE
· Strong communications skills
· Degree level educational qualifications with engineering institution recognition
· Experience of major multi-disciplinary rail infrastructure projects
· Understanding of performance modelling and maintenance arrangements across disciplines
· Understanding the influence design and construction have on performance of railway infrastructure.
· Experience of change control processes
· Experience of railway Maintenance function
Desirable
· Chartered Engineer or working towards it
· Knowledge of/ experience in Alliancing and working in integrated cross company/ client teams.
