As a Principal / Senior Systems Engineer a typical week will look like:

Deploying high standards of technical practice in Systems Integration, including having a working knowledge of relevant standards.
Leading the capture, development and management of requirements on a major engineering programme.
Leading the development and use of systems architectures through the appropriate use of tools and techniques.
Supporting the technical consultancy on RAM, Ergonomics, EMC, performance simulation, risk and other related SE activities.

To be considered for these roles you will ideally have a degree in an engineering discipline. You will be Chartered of have aspirations of achieving Chartered status with full support from the company. You will ideally have worked in the rail industry if not, a safety critical engineering industry such as aerospace, defence accompanied with experience in a project environment with good customer relationship and stakeholder management skills. You will have current or previous experience working with the v-model lifecycle and good skills in IBM DOORS, MS Excel, Visio, Word and Access.
