FREELANCE SENIOR PLANNER - BIRMINGHAM - £425 A DAY - 2 YEARS +

We are recruiting on behalf of one of our key clients for a flagship office expecting a deluge of tenders coming through for earthworks, infrastructure, highways and civils schemes ranging up to £60m in value. They are therefore looking for a Senior Planner to join the team taking part in tendering and management of programmes once on site. Duties will include: -
- Deciding on strategy for tendering
- Liaising with site teams and client regarding construction methods
- Development of construction baseline plans
- Identify and track changes to the agreed scope ensuring NEC principles are applied to
- Receive and understand all project programme data and integrate all construction activities
- Site programme reviews to ensure accurate recording of progress
- Ensure accurate and timely planning: progress reporting, measurement of key dates and milestones and critical path analysis
- Ideally degree qualified or with construction related HNC/HND
- Proven track record of working with P6
- This is a lead role for a well renowned civils contractor offering long term freelance opportunities or substantial career progression
