Role: Senior Acoustic Consultant

Salary: £Negotiable

I am looking to place a Senior Acoustic Consultant an international engineering consultancys Croydon office. The role will have a national remit, and you will collaborate with team members across 30 different UK offices and other international teams. 

The Acoustics teams work as an incorporated function working alongside other Civil and Structural design teams, covering a range of infrastructure, commercial/industrial, renewable energy and environmental projects. The role also covers client-facing responsibilities, in that you will directly advise internal and external clients on a range of acoustic issues. The post-holder will have the opportunity to oversee large-scale projects for their entire lifecycle, from conception, design, construction and eventual maintenance or handover. The firm are also increasing their workload with Environmental Acoustics, with the post holder having the opportunity to play a key role in developing this area further from a technical and business standpoint. 

Ideally, candidates will have a relevant degree in Acoustics as well as having relevant, demonstrable experience of technical accuracy and commercial awareness. Candidates may also be a member of a relevant professional body such as the Institute of Acoustics or Association of Noise Consultants.

Job Requirements:

• Relevant Education in Building/Environmental Acoustics
• Experience with Commercial development within Acoustics projects
• Experience of bids/tenders/fee proposals
• Ability to coordinate teams at a national level
• Willingness to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Pre-Employment check
• Membership of IoA or ANC
