Senior Construction Manager – OLE

We are currently working with a major rail organisation who are looking for a Senior Construction Manager who is OLE bias, to work from their office in Leeds.

You will assist the Project Manager / Renewals Manager in delivering allocated contracts safely, while effectively supervising and delivering the approved construction programmes to the agreed resource and budget.

The Role

• Engage and lead with constructability reviews.
• Attend IDC’s and project construction, planning and access meetings.
• Coordinate the implementation of site construction activities with the Track installation teams.
• Ensuring that toolbox talks, task briefs and COSS briefs are carried out for all work tasks.
• Produce Construction Work Package Plans and weekly task briefs.
• Ordering and receipt of site deliverables, site plant, including security and timely off hire.
• This position is one of site supervision and based generally in a site environment. It is a requirement to attend site on a regular basis.

• Supervisory Management training / qualification with significant practical experience
• Full UK Driving Licence
• The ability to supervise and lead the site team in the successful delivery of the allocated contracts for specific discipline (PWay, civils, signals)
• Experience of railway construction management for specific discipline
