About our Senior GIS Architect

As part of the Systems Engineering Team, the Senior GIS Architect will lead the GIS work packages across a range of client projects, internal development as well as develop GIS services within Infinitive Group.

We see this person playing a pivotal role in the development of our services to help in delivering the data driven railway.

You’ll be the driving force to lead and develop our GIS capability and this includes the creation and delivery of the technology roadmap for GIS as well as the development of ICT systems to support that roadmap.

You’ll also support the win-work cycle; leading or inputting into future bids and opportunities.

The range of projects at Infinitive is broad from Rail; Rolling Stock to Infrastructure as well as Smart Cities.

Qualifications and Technical Skills

You’ll already have:

  • Professional qualification (Graduate level equivalent) within either GIS or a related field to GIS.

  • Proficiency in GIS software packages.

  • Spatial/tabular data collection, organisation, management, and processing.

  • Cartographic production/digital mapping.

  • Advanced database management and custom application development.

  • Knowledge of relevant standards.

  • Experience of collaborative relations with clients, contractors and partners.

  • £55,000 - £65,000 pa dependent on experience

  • 25 days annual leave + statutory bank holidays
