What you'll be doing

As a Senior P-Way Site Manager, you will:

• Be responsible for the detailed planning and execution of Track Renewals Works as allocated by the Construction Manager
• Hold Whiteboard / Stage Gate meetings in accordance with BB Track Renewals Procedure producing the required outputs to support effective and robust delivery of the works to completion;
• Ensure agreed performance and other KRAs are met;
• Manage compliance with Contract allowable for all works;
• Assist with the provision of technical support to the Senior Engineer and Construction Manager;
• Ensure all staff have the necessary skills and are competent to undertake all duties safely, efficiently and to Contract Specification;
• Co-ordinate/Chair/Attend and record site meetings;
• Produce status and progress reports on site works;
• Ensure all works are undertaken in accordance with the WPP and any deviations from programme timings are reported timorously;
• Undertake safety inspection as stipulated by BB procedures and Contract requirements;
• Assist in the production of WPPs and Task Briefs;
• Ensure appropriate Daily Work Returns (Planned v Actuals) are submitted timorously
• Undertake accident/incident investigations as required;
• Ensure adequate provision of welfare facilities

Who we're looking for

Personal Qualities & Experience:

• Good in-depth knowledge of all aspects of Track Renewals Disciplines;
• Excellent knowledge of Rules & Regulations, H.A.S.A.W and other appropriate regulations;
• Excellent knowledge of both group and line standards;
• Good IT skills;
• Good communication and people management skills;
• Full driving licence;
• PTS and COSS.
