My Client, a major consultancy with 5000 staff and 20 offices across the globe, is searching for a Senior or Principal Highways Engineer with 3 to 10 years' experience to join their Civils team in London. You will have the chance to be exposed to a range of complex, multidisciplinary projects in the UK, Europe and Asia. 

The Client, a Large scaled consultancy, have opened their brand new European HQ, and chosen London as their base. They are searching for a Senior or Principal Civil Infrastructure/Highways Engineer to join their rapidly expanding team. With strong desires to establish a signature team, they are looking to expand to 200+ people by 2025. 

In the role, you will predominantly be leading the technical delivery of Drainage and Highway design, managing a small and expanding team of engineers and technicians. You will be involved with other project management aspects, such as budgets, fee proposals and resource requirements.  

The successful candidate would be able to use standard design software, with Civils3D being a must, and MicroDrainage being of good benefit. You will be working on a range of schemes, both at home and internationally, some of which may include Major Highways, Urban Developments, and Private Sector schemes too.

Job Description:

-          Have experience of handling projects from inception, through detailed design and to delivery.
-          Be able to use Civils 3D and/or MicroDrainage
-          Be Chartered or approaching Chartered status
-          Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
-          Experience designing highways for residential, industrial and other infrastructure schemes
-          Experience designing haul roads, access roads and car parks
