Rail Systems Senior Engineer / Manager - GCC Region

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialists are supporting a leading International Engineering firm who are requiring a Rail Systems Senior Engineer / Manager for their Rail projects in the GCC Region

This is a permanent position with the company, and you can be based in Qatar, UAE, or Saudi Arabia

As a Rail Systems Senior Engineer / Manager you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and implementation of rail system projects in GCC. You will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of rail system projects while also actively participating in business development activities to identify and secure new opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the technical aspects of rail system projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, project requirements, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative rail system solutions that meet client needs and align with project objectives.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and technical evaluations for rail system projects, providing recommendations and solutions as needed.
• Actively engage in business development activities, including identifying potential clients, fostering strategic partnerships, and preparing proposals and presentations.
• Maintain a strong network of industry contacts and stay updated with market trends, industry advancements, and emerging technologies relevant to rail systems.
• Support project teams by providing technical guidance, resolving technical issues, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality projects.
• Foster positive client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business opportunities.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers

Key requirements for the role:

• Degree in Engineering, science or similar, or Equivalent Technical Background.
• 10-15 years of experience
• Good regional experience is essential
• Business Development experience is essential

Salary:

50-55k AED "net" per month, all -inclusive
