I have an excellent opportunity based in London in my clients engagement team, working across a partnership of 3 companies and their Communications and Stakeholder Engagement teams, directly working with the Director of Comms and Engagement. This role is a senior level and will be less involved in the day to day Stakeholder/Community activities and more overseeing the activity of others. This role will have one direct report.
Salary: £64,620 to £80,760 with up to 12% pension (double matched up to 6%).
Where: Euston, 2/3 days per week
Responsibilities.
- Work in a senior position across a number of companies, ensuring consistency and high standards in appoach to community Engagement.
- Work within the communications and Stakeholder Engagement team to work with the Director in delivering the community and engagement strategy and stakeholder relationship management.
- Manage area-wide community issues and stakeholders, including but not limited to political stakeholders and community representatives.
- Keeping local communities informed about work in their area, responding to their questions and concerns, and involving them in opportunities to influence or benefit from the project.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Incredible organisation and planning skills.
- Past experience engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to engage in challenging and sometimes difficult conversations.
- Understanding/experience working in complex political environments.
- Experience in community engagement.
- Resilient and confident.
- Confident, ambitious, and prepared to challenge others to improve.
- Excellent writing and grammar skills.
- Experience working with main contractors.
- Have a range of large scale project experience.
- Experience working on construction projects.
- Capable of demonstrating leadership skills.
