What you'll be doing
As a Senior Supervisor, you will have the following accountabilities:
- Responsible for the detailed planning and execution of Track Renewals Works as allocated by the Renewals Manager.
- Responsible for planning and directing the activities of Site Supervisors and track staff.
- Hold Whiteboard / Stage Gate meetings in accordance with CRSA Track Renewals Procedure producing the required outputs to support effective and robust delivery of the works to completion.
- Ensure agreed performance and other KRAs are met Ensure compliance with Contract allowables for all works.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Safety Legislation and Welfare Regulations.
- Responsible for ensuring all works undertaken comply with contract specifications and Network Rail Group and Line Standards.
- Responsible for ensuring works are undertaken by competent staff. Assist with the provision of technical support to the Senior Engineer, Senior Supervisor and Renewals Manager.
- Support the Senior Renewals Manager in delivering the Alliance Programme as required.
- Assist with the provision of technical and delivery support to the Track and Drainage Senior Engineer, Senior Supervisor and Renewals Manager Team as required.
Who we're looking for
You will have the following:
- Demonstrable experience in Permanent Way maintenance/track renewals at least performing at Site Supervisors level
- In depth knowledge of Track Renewals discipline.
- Strong knowledge of financial controls.
- Good knowledge of Track Renewals Disciplines.
- Excellent knowledge of Rules & Regulations, H.A.S.A.W and other appropriate regulations.
- Excellent knowledge of both group and line standards
- In depth knowledge of all aspects of track renewals disciplines.
- HNC in an Engineering discipline or working towards.
- Good IT skills.
