My client has an opportunity for a Senior Technical Officer E & P on a contract basis around the Midland

area and other locations. As the Senior Technical Officer E & P you will have a focus on Maintenance

Engineering. You'll provide vital, specialist technical support and guidance to the Maintenance Engineering

team and will reporting to the Principal Technical Officer. This is a varied role in which you'll help the team

develop and excel.

Your Key responsibilities will be to: -

Work to compliance and safety regulations as a priority.

Providing specialist technical support and guidance to a Maintenance Engineering team.

Focus strongly on quality control and analysis.

Focus on analysis and quality control.

Manage the preparation of work and resource specifications, method statements and plans.

Proactively check the quality of work that's delivered.

Confirm assets are compliant to the highest standards.

Carry out technical inspections, investigations and data analysis.

You'll design, install, test and commission equipment.

You may need to be hands-on and carry out and supervising technical tasks, surveys and design work.

Key skills and experience: -

Proven knowledge of technical support activities and techniques

Experience and insight spanning maintenance processes, systems and standards

Understanding of design requirements, processes and techniques

Able to demonstrate, promote and influence safe working behaviours within the team

Excellent communication skills, both in person and in writing

Able to coach, influence and develop others

Qualifications: -

NVQ level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering

Full clean driving license
