My client a Tier 1 contractor is looking for a Senior Tender Planner to join their pre-construction team within their Environmental division. With over 5000 employees and a turnover of over £3 billion, operating across construction, infrastructure & Environmental, making our client one of the largest in its industry.

The Role

As Senior planner you will have experience in the processing industry within Water, Oil &Gas, M&E or Petrochemical. Working within the pre-construction team on water projects around £10m you will prepare considered and competitive programmes associated with bid submissions. As Senior Planner exposure to working on projects at tender stage under an NEC form contract would be advantageous.

Your duties and responsibilities as a Senior Planner can see you:

• Construct and prepare programmes for the prospective water projects you will be tendering for
• Manage a team of junior planners
• Liaise with multiple areas of the business such as design, operational; and commercial teams
• Create safe working environment
• Preparation of programmes for Highways Schemes
• Integrate design and tender programme
• Define sequence, logistics, resource requirements and outputs for programming and quality submissions

The Ideal candidate

• You will be qualified within an Engineering discipline with either: HNC, HND, BSc, BEng, MSc, Meng
• Your main background will consist of experience within water
• Experience with Primavera P6 planning software
• You would have worked within a site background and transferred into a planning role
• You will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within a Senior Planning role

Remuneration

Salary up to £65,000
