What can you bring to this role?

• MUST have water project experience
• A qualification within an Engineering discipline would be beneficial: HNC, HND, BSc, BEng, MSc, Meng
• Experience using Primavera P6 planning software would also be preferable, but ASTA could also be considered
• You can either have worked your way up through the usual planning route or transferred over from a site background. What is key though is a good couple of years in a Senior Planning role.

What will you be doing as Senior Planner?

As stated above, you’ll be based within the Tender team, constructing and preparing programmes for the prospective water projects you’ll be tendering for. This role will be key in highlighting the workability of the schemes and integral to winning projects over other companies on the lot. This isn’t the sort of role where you would be managing a team of Junior Planners, you’d basically be responsible for your own workload meeting potentially tight deadlines.

On a normal day you could liaise with people from different areas of the business such as design, operational, and commercial teams, encompassing all those different elements into the plans. You’ll mainly be working on water projects around the £10m mark focusing on asset management.
