Marketing Assistant in Remote Working, United Kingdom
We are looking for an ambitious Marketing Assistant to join our Kent-based head office. The role reports to our Bid Manager and supports the marketing, business development and tendering activity for our growing consultancy business.
Responsible for providing administrative marketing support. Duties include collecting marketing data, compiling reports, working closely with other team members to promote the business and seek opportunities for further development. Maintain the company’s online and social media presence, together with providing support to the Bid Manager and the Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
As a Marketing Assistant, you will support the business development and tendering activity within the business. It involves:
- developing a good understanding of the business, what we do, our work culture and environment
- using social media to market and promote the business
- provide administration support to our Bid Manager
- management of the company websites and LinkedIn profile
- writing the company newsletters
- market research to seek opportunities and intelligence within rail and construction sectors
- development of case studies
- review daily emails for tendering opportunities
- attend online events and produce reports for internal distribution
- networking (online and face2face)
