Marketing Manager

Reporting to the Business Development Director – Rail, you’ll be responsible for the implementation of the Rail marketing and communications strategy whilst leading and enhancing the company’s brand and profile.

What you’ll do:

• You’ll act as the single point of contact for all Rail marketing and communications activities including external communications and social media, internal communications and newsletters, events, awards and branding
• You’ll manage the agreed marketing and communications plan and budget throughout the financial year ensuring all activities planned and delivered both on time and within budget
• You’ll contribute to the development of future integrated designated business marketing plans alongside the Business Development Director and other senior business stakeholders.

Who you are:

We're looking for someone with significant experience in Marketing with a bias towards writing, proofreading and publishing external and internal communications. Someone with the skills and experience to provide advice, independent opinion, and assurance to colleagues at all levels of our business. You'll be expected to develop close working relationships, network with others and influence where required.

Key requirements:

• Responsiblibe for the planning, writing, proofreading and publishing of all internal and external communications
• Liasing with Telent’s external agencies and other marketing functions to agree and deliver the Telent’s Communications Strategy, ensuring that communications are published as per the agreed schedule
• Being the brand ambassador for the Rail division, ensuring consistency with the Telent brand guidelines
• Experience of Pardot or similar email marketing automation systems with Salesforce integration
• Strong organisational skills and demonstrable experience of achieving challenging deadlines and the ability to communicate at all levels.
