Mane are recruiting for a Mechanical biased Construction Manager based in Reading to work on a 9month contract.

You must have have worked as a Construction Manager before and have mechanical experience and working knowledge of high pressure STEAM. Please only apply if you have steam experience and have worked as a Construction Manager before.

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Civil/Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Building Services Construction Manager responsible for delivering the construction phase of our clients project/s and associated accountabilities / documentation to meet safety, quality, programme and cost objectives.

In this role you will assist the Principal Construction Manager in Construction Design Management (CDM) compliance, along with reviewing and responding to contractor programmes. You will be responsible for ensuring the commissioning activities are following the appropriate Project Delivery Map and all construction records are maintained.

As a Construction Manager you will be responsible for the provision of accurate forecast and reviewing and engaging in short term planning activities.

We are looking for the Construction Manager to have:

Previous experience working within Project Management and Construction.
Practical construction experience.
People management skills.
Membership of an appropriate professional institution.
OND/HND/Vocational certificate.
Ability to articulate technical complexities
Strong communication skills.
Incorporated Engineer or equivalent (Preferred)
Academic/vocational qualification (Preferred)

Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the security clearance required for the role.

High pressure Steam knowledge and experience is a must. Please only apply if you have this experience.
