M&E Project Manager

Pay: £450-500 per day LTD Company

Duration: 6-12 Months with possible extension

Location: London

This is a great opportunity for an experienced M&E Project Manager to join a main contractor and work on one of the busiest airports in London

M&E PROJECT MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver a variety of projects; works will include managing M&E packages between £1M - £30M, replacing life expired assets, electrical panels, MEP refurbishment, passenger areas and managing all site-based activities in relation to M&E.
• Effectively manage team performance and subcontractors on the project by ensuring they have clear roles and responsibilities.
• Expertise within Aviation M&E to advise on the design at ECI stage and then lead the design and built stage of the project
• Manage daily Health & Safety on site including RAMS and Safe Systems of Work.
• Identify and resolve daily risks and challenges on site.
• Assist with commissioning and a smooth handover
• Manage works in accordance with quality requirements
• Attendance and input at progress team meetings
• Identify and resolve engineering and coordination issues
• Monitor position against contract programme and agree recovery programmes.

M&E PROJECT MANAGER REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in project management within the M&E industry
• Previous Airport experience highly desired!
• Able to complete an Airside pass which is a Security check requirement
• CSCS card relevant to appointment
• Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent preferable
• A relevant professional qualification, such as APMP, and a relevant technical qualification are desirable.
• SMSTS / SSSTS
