Randstad CPE is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Supervisor / Authorised Person to work on a
multi million pound project.
The role is based in London and is ongoing.
PLEASE NOTE A AP TICKET/EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
Role & responsibilities:
Assist the Mechanical Engineering Manager to deliver O&M/ / T&C aims and objectives,
safely and efficiently.
Organise and Supervise Pressure Testing and commissioning of mechanical systems
Apply isolations and issue Permit to Works / Sanction for Test safety documents.
Initiate the Mechanical Maintenance strategy on a variety of mechanical systems including:
Pumps, Fire Mains, Compressors, Ventilation Fans and Pump Drainage Systems.
Complete Daily shift reports and safety Documentation.
Statutory inspections of safety critical mechanical systems
Represent the O&M Department at Section meetings.
Ensure Site drawings are accurate and up to date.
Attend Inspections and T&C activities when required.
Implement the relevant requirements of the contractor's Safety, Quality, and Environmental
Protocols.
Ensure working party have been briefed have completed the relevant documentation.
Supervise Installation and Maintenance works.
Be available as part of a call out rota.
Ensure utility metering is recorded on a monthly basis and submitted.
Ad hoc duties as and when required by the Mechanical Engineering Manager, Temporary
Operations Manager and Testing and Commissioning Department
Essential:
Level 3 or above qualification in Mechanical or Process Engineering
Past experience in Projects or infrastructure background
Mechanical installation and Maintenance experience.
Knowledge of Piping and Process systems, pumps, ventilation, plumbing.
Excellent communication skills.
CSCS Card
SSSTS/SMSTS.
City & Guilds Mechanical AP Ticket
Desirable:
NEBOSH or IOSH Managing Safely
Rail or Industrial Experience
Electrical Knowledge
