Data Tech is looking to hire mechanical installers, electrical mates, and data cable installation engineers working across various London Underground stations.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience working on London Underground installing cable management systems/structured cabling installations.

Key Requirements:

• Must be flexible to work either days/nights as required by the project.
• Must have a good standard of written and spoken English, be a great communicator, well presented and pleasant/professional, especially when dealing with clients and public.
• Good communication skills, initiative, and attention to detail.
• The ability to work to a given set of standards

Desirable Experience

• Time served, experience and good understanding of Cable Management Systems (metal trunking, conduit and tray) installations, preferably within the London Underground / Rail environment.
• Installation of structured cabling systems
• Currently or previously carried out the role of a SPC (Site Person In Charge)

Hours

• Mainly Engineering hours (00.00 to 04.30)
• Sunday to Thursday nights inclusive generally 5 shift per week

Employment terms

• PAYE position on a call down contract inclusive of holiday pay, pension, and training.
• Training and Certification included

Good prospects, long term contracts London based working anywhere within the TfL underground network.
