Are you a Mechanical Engineer with rail experience? Are you keen to get involved in a prestigious rail project? Randstad CPE is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to work for a Tier 1 main contractor on a station in Central London.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop & Review works package plans for assurance (ITP, RAMS & Process Mapping)
- Review Technical Documentation for assurance (Tech subs & Materials compliance
- Managing the sub-contractors, direct labour and liaising with design teams throughout the project
- Value engineering, and ensuring the project sticks to the program as closely as possible
- Select and submit materials for approval
- Raising IRFs and carrying out inspections with client
- Tracking inspection & handover progress of electrical systems
- Identifying defects and diversion from project specification (NCR)
- Site surveillance & monitoring
Candidate requirements
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 Years' experience in Mechanical Field
- IT Literate (Heavy use of IT - Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Autodesk (BIM)
- Client facing
