A global engineering consultancy is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join them in one of their offices - York, birmingham, Manchester or London. the role will involve working with engineers within the rail team, comerving MEP Projects. This consultancy is open to hybrid working- and flexuible working.
In this role you will produce MEP designs appointed by the MEP CRE and LEad Engineer.

Your role will also involve:
- Ensuring designs are completed to meet CRE/Lead Engineers requirements.
- Planning the allocated design works to meet the agreed timescales.
- Identify changes to the projects client requirements and raise the changes with the CRE/Lead Engineer.
Experience and qualifications
- Minimum HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- This role requires a good understanding of CSM/CDM regulations and requirements. (internal training will be provided.)
- Experience of working in Network Rail IP ProjectWise & BIM Standards is preferable
- Experience in the use of Hevacomp and/or Thermal Modelling Design Software.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Detailed knowledge of mechanical services design within the built environment or transpor in infrastructure including HVAC, Public Health, Building Physics and BIM
