Job location: Cardiff
Salary: Circa £17.30 per hour afters, £14.80 (ltd company rates)
We are currently recruiting mechanical fitters to help with overhaul and repair tasks for rolling stock fleets.
You will help build best practice and assist with project demands. Working closely with colleagues to ensure the timely completion of projects up to the highest quality standards following technical instructions.
This is a rolling contract and it is forecasted to last well into next year with potential for long term or permanent employment for the right candidates.
Full industry training provided and work specific tooling & workwear provided.

Person Profile
A strong rolling stock technical engineer. Ideally having worked within heavy engineering previously. We welcome applicants from ex forces, HGV, plant and machinery, mining, O&G, marine and aviation fields.
Essential
*Mechnically biased apprenticeship or equivalent level 3 qualification

Desirable
*2 + years' within heavy engineering environment
*Experience working with rolling stock
*Hard working and flexible for shift work and overtime
*Works well with others and can easily follow technical engineering instructions
