We are currently dealing with one of the UKs leading multidisciplinary consultancies who are looking to take on a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing Building Services team in Leeds with the possibility of working on a remote hybrid basis. The suitable candidate will get the opportunity to work on exciting projects supporting schemes across a huge range of sectors and fast track their career progression.

The duties of this job include but are not limited to:

• Involvement in all aspects of design process, checking designs are produced to a high quality.
• Helping to mentor junior engineering staff
• Reviewing costs and cost implications.
• Assessing and interpreting client requirements.
• Selecting equipment, carrying out calculations and producing specifications.

The requirements of this job are:

• Proficiency in the use of Revit is essential, and experience using MagiCAD is ideal.
• Understanding of project requirements and ability to manage project delivery.
• Relevant qualification in Mechanical Design and working towards chartered status/have an interest in doing so.
• Future flexibility will be needed for regular co-operation, travel and inter-office working
• In house expertise for Mechanical enquiries.
