Samuel Knight Rail have an excellent opportunity with an expanding and innovative rail consultancy for a permanent (Senior) Mechanical Rolling Stock Design Engineer

Based in Birmingham they are delivering on numerous exciting projects on behalf of their prestigious, blue chip clients throughout the rolling stock sector and are looking for an accomplished mechanical design engineer to add value to their already talented team.

To be considered for the role you must have the following:

• A minimum of 5 years Mechanical rolling stock design experience
• Industry office experience (previous work in a consultancy environment would be advantageous)
• Competent in the use of Solid Edge design software
• Prior experience of Rolling Stock refurbishment or integration design projects is essential
