(RAIL) Rolling Stock Expert - Philippines

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is seeking a Rolling Stock Expert for an ongoing Metro construction project in the Philippines.

Opportunity:

My client is an international consultancy firm who have numerous projects in and around the country and who are working on the supervision of the construction of an ODA (JICA) financed project in the Philippines capital Manila. The successful individual shall be joining an International Team on a long term project and playing a key role in its successful delivery.

Responsibilities of the role:

The Rolling Stock Expert will Manage, Organize and Coordinate all works for the Acquisition, Testing, Commissioning and Preparation for Client Handover including the Transfer of Knowledge and Skills, Spares and Special tools of the new Rolling Stock. Other aspects of the role shall be:

• Maintain close coordination with Interface System Integrator
• Ensure the Requirements and Details contained in the contracts awarded
• Arrange for Testing, Trials and Commissioning of the Rolling Stock
• Assist with the Transfer of Knowledge and Skills
• Assist in the Evaluation and Resolution of any Claims,

Key requirements for the role:

• Graduate in related subject
• 15+ general experience
• 5+ years' experience in similar role
• Overseen the successful procurement, manufacturing, delivery and commissioning/ Handover of Rolling Stock
• Previous JICA Project experience (IS A MUST)

Salary Package:

The salary package shall be around $11-12,000 TAX FREE with additional allowances for accommodation etc.
