VGC Group are looking for experienced ALO coordinator to start on a project in Water Orton, Birmingham, This contract is available to start on ASAP for the successful candidate pending safety critical medical and HS2 induction appointment completion that would be arranged for you by our company.

Salary: £22.34 ph PAYE

Hours: 07:30am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday

Experience: 2 years +

Qualifications: Sentinel card - ALO coordinator, CSCS Green general operative card, Full UK driving licence

Job roles and responsibility will include but will not be limited to:

An ALO (Any Line Open) site coordinator plays a crucial role in managing safety during railway construction or maintenance work. Here are the key responsibilities:

-Coordinating Work Activities: The site coordinator ensures smooth collaboration among team members to complete projects on time and within budget.

- Safety Training: They provide safety training to crew members, covering precautions, company policies, and job-specific skills.

- Day-to-Day Operations: The site coordinator manages and coordinates daily operations at a specific location. This includes overseeing staff, implementing operational plans, and ensuring compliance with safety and security standards.

- Risk Control: They monitor and implement risk control measures, especially when working alongside lines open to traffic. This involves adhering to guidelines and ensuring the use of appropriate safety devices.

- Authority: The ALO site coordinator has the authority to enact change control if needed, ensuring that work proceeds safely according to the ALO plan.

Based in Water Orton remuneration for this role is £22.34 per hour, you will accrue holiday entitlement and be eligible to join the VGC pension scheme once certain criteria have been met.
