Our client is one of the leading Procurement, Contract Management and Dispute resolution service providers in the UK.
Opportunity:
This leading consultancy has a new opportunity for an Associate Director to join their highly successful and growing Contract Services Division in London and lead on an immediately
You will be working on projects through the whole procurement lifecycle and you will be involved in some of the largest infrastructure projects in the Europe.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with leading clients, you will have full support from Senior Members of the team.
Background
A natural Leader in both a Technical and Management capacity, you will have strong experience in strategic procurement across a range of project type and strong contract management knowledge across major standard forms of contract in use. With a natural approach to business development and excellent commercial acumen, you will possess the strength and conviction to lead, develop and manage existing and future relationships to aid business growth whilst also taking a lead role on multi-faceted programmes.
Main Job Purpose
To actively support the development of our Intelligent Procurement Product and take the lead role in delivering expert strategic procurement consultancy advice & end to end procurement services to key clients.
This is to include managing the delivery of best in class procurement services on major service commissions across a range of sectors.
Profile and Experience:
• Professionally qualified in RICS, LLB, MCIPS or similar
• Significant Strategic Procurement experience in a range of sectors across a wide client base
• Confident and able to lead projects in own right, but when necessary to work as part of a senior delivery team
• Strong Contract management knowledge across major standard forms of contract in use (including NEC, FIDIC, JCT).
• Experience of providing risk consultancy services an advantage
• Robust and methodical analytical skills, adaptable, with strong management experience
• Broad experience and exposure in a diverse range of construction sectors
• A proven background in driving new and existing business development opportunities
