Bridge Inspector

Opportunity for a Bridge Inspector in Perth, Western Australia. Looking for a Bridge Inspector within the Infrastructure industry to join a busy and fast paced WA market. A fabulous City based on the banks of the Swan River and an endless coastline of pristine white beaches. During 2020, Western Australia has shown strong government leadership and have protected its residents from the effects of COVID. Strong border control, low population density and community awareness has provided a safe bubble for WA residents to live. The economy has surged forwards, being one of two States to grow during the pandemic.

The Infrastructure industry is booming and we are looking to bring over professionals in many areas but specifically Transport. $25billion worth of Roads and Rail projects have been committed to and underway over the next 3 years with an additional injection of a similar amount for the subsequent 3 years. Labour government is resulting in the Rail Industry as the big winner in all of this.

About the Role

We are currently working with one of the biggest Transport Infrastructure companies in Western Australia, to assist them in securing an experienced Bridge Inspector for their busy team. This is a 50/50 role (site/metro-based), responsible for the asset management and maintenance of bridge conditions around WA.

Your position will involve inspecting bridges, culverts and structures, checking condition ratings and structural integrity in order to produce defect reports.

Key Criteria

Ideally, you will have proven experience within bridge inspection and civil maintenance within Road and Rail infrastructure.

You will possess the following skills and attributes:

• Cert III Civil/Bridge Construction
• Road & rail experience
• Confidently engage with various stakeholders
• Knowledge & understanding of relevant bridge codes
