The Opportunity

Are you a CNC Programmer who wants to work for a business with a large order book, who have the foresight to invest in a training academy as the development of their staff is as critical as achieving their business goals.

Location (s): Working for our client based in Leicester

Role and Responsibilities:

• Have experience of CNC programming in either Heidenhein or Fanuc systems
• Produce accurate, high quality components with maximum efficiency
• Produce Efficient Programs on the Machine tool
• Undertake any off-set changes to the CNC programme to ensure the components are produce to the customer drawings / requirements
• Complete first off inspection
• Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto CNC machines
• Support, develop and advise other colleagues & departments on technical machining issues

The Candidate:

• Be a fully skilled time served engineer or with relevant CNC experience
• Be able to work to tight tolerances
• Have experience of using a wide variety of measuring equipment
• Be able to work on own initiative
• Have good communication skills
• (Experience of using 5 axis CNC machines is desirable although not essential)

Essentials skills:

• Have experience of working on either Milling or Turning Machines
