We currently have an immediate opportunity for a freelance Communication Specialist to support our client at Euston. Initially for 3 months with a likelihood to extend.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing consultancy with masses of opportunity both in the UK and overseas.

Responsibilities

• To engage the public via social media and web channels, the ability to create visual

aids and gifs for this purpose would be useful.

• Check that all branding used on the project complies with the companys policy on branding, visual identity and image.

• Produce regular reports on all communications activities on the project, including budget

• Interface with key external audiences (across community relations, media and public affairs) so that these relationships are appropriately managed

• Produce and manage detailed communications plans, detailing activities and resources necessary for implementation and providing recommendations for continuous improvement / best practice.

• Take a ‘digital first’ approach, producing social media content to support stories and using online platforms to maximise all media activity·

• Managing the integrated communications response to select committees and other high-profile inquiries and reviews.

• Working closely with colleagues across the communications department to deliver integrated campaigns in line with our communications strategy

• Evidence of reactive and proactive media handling

• Digital experience and content creation

• Excellent writing skills

• Ability to work in a team, under pressure and to understand rail complexities
