We are currenlty looking for Concrete Pump Operator to join HS2 project on a permanent basis in Water Orton, Birmingham.

Duties

• Fully responsible of start up the pump including slurry.
• Fully responsible to operate Static Pump (from discharge of concrete into the hopper up to discharge of concrete in the other end of the concrete hose at the end of the placing boom
• Inspection, daily check.
• Basic maintenance, along the concrete pipeline, changing worn parts of the pipeline.
• Basic daily maintenance of the static pump.
• Ensure Static Pump is fully ready one hour before commencement of the pouring with all checks completed.
• Responsible to stop the concrete pump according safety procedure and instruction manual.
• Housekeeping, Safety, working area well organized at all times
• Coordinate with Placing Boom Operator and General Foreman before and during the pouring process, follow their instructions
• Ensures that a culture of Right First Time is adopted, attend Maintenance Inspections, implement immediately actions required.
• Report to Foreman any issues immediately

Start date: ASAP

Rate: £20.94 ph PAYE

Requirements:

• Be familiar with and demonstrate commitment to the requirements of the Health & Safety and Environmental Policies implemented on site.
• CPCS A06 Concrete Pump – Truck Mounted or equivalent Npors with CSCS logo truck mounted
