Conference Producer

£250 per day, inside IR35

9-month contract

We are currently working with a major rail organisation who are looking for a Conference Producer (not an events organiser) who can work from their office in Puddle Dock 3 days a week and remote work for 2.

You will spend 50% of your time engaging with paid speakers which will range from celebrities, authors and wellbeing experts to yoga and fitness instructors.

The Role

• Research health and wellbeing topics and themes for the event
• Develop event programme using research, input from industry contacts and previous event feedback
• Invite speakers and negotiate fees (for celebrity speakers, promotional communications need to be negotiated as well)
• Gather all details for speakers and then hand over to events agency to manage logistics
• Proofread session titles and descriptions, and suggest improvements to speakers where necessary
• Write any session titles and descriptions that are missing
• Write speaker briefs for keynote and celebrity speakers
• Approximately 40% of event content comes from sponsors and the Rail Wellbeing Alliance (RWA).
• Build strong working relationships with the RWA technical leads and subgroups
• Guide sponsor companies and RWA towards a topic choice and content that is relevant and fits in with the existing programme of paid speakers

Our client is looking for someone with extensive experience in Conference Production, a Health and Wellbeing background would be ideal but not a deal breaker.
